EZIDE - SATA to IDE Drive Converter

The EzIDE is a small adapter board designed to allow you to connect a SATA drive to your computer via an IDE port. The EzIDE converts the SATA drive signals to IDE (PATA) so your computer sees and communicates with the SATA drive as if it were an IDE drive. The EzIDE is the ideal solution for older or legacy systems that were designed for use with IDE (PATA) drives and lack motherboard support for SATA drives. The EzIDE attaches directly to the hard drive so it does not require a bus slot. Also, because the EzIDE works entirely in hardware, it does not require a device driver. That means it is not limited to use with any particular operating system and can be used with both old and new operating systems. For example, the EzIDE can significantly extend the life of manufacturing and robotic systems based on earlier operating system software which may not provide support for SATA hardware.
